Valentine Peppermint Sweets

Is your Valentine as sweet as their sweet tooth? Then why not try to make these delicious and very easy to make peppermint sweets with red love hearts on the top?
To make peppermint sweets you will need...
12 tablespoons of icing sugar,
1 egg white,
SilverSpoon ready made red icing in a tube,
peppermint flavouring.
Remember to wash your hands and clean the work surfaces before you begin.
Method...
Add to a bowl the icing sugar, egg white, 4 drops of peppermint flavouring. Mix well and kneed the mixture to form a smooth ball. If the mixture is a little too wet add more icing sugar.
Roll the ball into a large sausage and slice into individual sweets. Use your hands to shape the sweets into nice circle shapes and leave them on a chopping board to dry.
When the sweets are hard, pipe a love heart shape on each peppermint. You might want to pipe a test heart on a piece of paper before you start on the sweets. It isn't too difficult, you just need a steady hand.
To package your home made sweets you could buy a small metallic gift box or gift bag.
