Lollipop Flower Candy Blossoms for Valentines

This Valentine's Day craft for lollipop flowers is easy to make using the flower template. You could make a whole bouquet of beautiful lollipop flowers for your sweetheart for Valentines Day.

To make lollipop flower you will need...
Lollipops (one for each flower that you would like to make)
Thin coloured card, craft foam or tissue paper
Scissors and a felt tip pens

Cut out the template, and use it to draw out some flower petals and centres on the card, craft foam or tissue paper. You can have one set of petals per flower or two if you prefer.

Cut out the petals and centres.

Optional Idea: Write a little love message around the edge of the flower petals with felt tip pens.

One the template you will see that the centre point has been marked with an '+'. On your flower petals and centres you need to make a hole at this point. The best way to do this is to puncture the petals with a Philips screwdriver onto a ball of Plasticine. The '+' shape the screwdriver makes is ideal for gripping the lollipop stick.

Next push the flower centre up the lolly stick as far up as it will go and then push on the flower petals. Once they are on the stick you can arrange the flower petals. You may want to scrunch the flower petals up a bit if you have made them from tissue paper.

Your lollipop flower is complete.
